The kindness of humanity has many expressions. A single thread of a handwoven tapestry, sunlight cast on the deep grooves of a smiling face. Food still hot from the coals it came from. Pausing to give gratitude for a moment of stillness. It was an honor to capture these moments in the villages of Belen, La Esperanza, and Cajixay, Guatemala. The journey was made possible by Agros International who provides ongoing knowledge and support for villages once shaken by war so they can overcome poverty to provide for their families and communities. I’ll be forever touched by the warmth and generosity of these beautiful souls.
